IREN Closes $3.65B Facility, Deploys NVIDIA DSX Air for Blackwell Factory

IREN closed a $3.65 billion GPU financing facility on June 1 to underwrite its NVIDIA AI cloud commitments, while partnering with BE Networks to deploy NVIDIA DSX Air for a digital twin simulating over 50,000 Blackwell Ultra GPUs. The move accelerates physical buildout at the Childress, Texas campus and follows IREN’s May 26 agreement to purchase $1.6 billion of air-cooled Blackwell systems from Dell. The latest steps build on the May 7 five-year, $3.4 billion AI cloud contract with NVIDIA that includes a five-year option for NVIDIA to invest up to $2.1 billion in IREN shares and targets up to 5 GW of DSX infrastructure.
