ICE and OKX Launch Regulated Oil Perpetuals as Brent Climbs to $105.90
ICE and OKX have now officially rolled out perpetual crude oil futures tied to ICE Brent and WTI benchmarks on the crypto platform in licensed jurisdictions. The launch follows LiteFinance’s 20 May introduction of similar contracts and comes amid Iran-driven supply concerns that have pushed Brent to $105.90, roughly 50% above pre-war levels. The 24/7, never-expiring products use funding rates to deliver leveraged exposure, positioning regulated venues to compete directly with decentralized platforms such as Hyperliquid while giving OKX’s ~120 million users access to traditional energy benchmarks.
