Google's new Fitbit Air brings Pokémon Sleep to your wrist

The new wearable integrates directly with the Pokémon Sleep mobile application alongside the Google Health app, combining traditional health and fitness tracking with gamified sleep metrics. The device tracks key daily metrics including movement, heart rate, and cardio load, while recording sleep duration and sleep quality overnight to boost in-game 'Drowsy Power' rewards. Priced at $129 for preorder, the special-edition wearable is set to begin shipping on September 15 through the Google Store and retail partner Target. By comparison, Google's standard screenless Fitbit Air retails for $99 following its debut in May, which featured an AI-powered fitness coach.
