Google Unveils Flagship Gemini 4 Argon AI Model and Sets API Pricing
Alphabet's Google has introduced its flagship Gemini 4 Argon artificial intelligence model and set commercial pricing at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. Following months of internal delays, the model is rolling out in phases to vetted partners and government entities through the Fairwind Program. Google designed Argon for complex coding and cybersecurity tasks, noting it tied OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra on cybersecurity evaluations. Internally, deploying Argon helped Google free more than 300 tebibytes of data center memory without additional hardware purchases.
