Google Cloud has launched its new Gemini agent for enterprise workplaces, introducing autonomous agentic capabilities to plan and execute multi-step business workflows. The unified tool functions as an independent coworker, featuring its own Workspace email address, calendar, directory listing, and audit trail. It connects across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce, and Snowflake, orchestrating both Gemini and Anthropic Claude models. CEO Sundar Pichai noted Gemini now reaches over 1 billion monthly active users and is deployed by nearly 90% of Fortune 100 companies. Targeted preview versions are live for financial services and legal practices.
