Google and Unity Partner to Launch AI-Powered Game Creation Ecosystem

Google and Unity Software have formed a strategic partnership to launch an AI-powered game creation platform, directly challenging Roblox's user-generated gaming dominance. Under the deal, Google launched an experimental tool called Playground for users 18 and older, enabling no-code game generation via natural language prompts integrated with Google Play Games. The partners also plan to release Unity Spark later this year to introduce professional-grade 3D mechanics and Unity runtime capabilities. Following the announcement, Roblox shares dropped as much as 8% in pre-market trading.
