Germany Plans Multimillion-Euro AI Industrial Partnership With Nvidia

Germany is preparing to launch a major artificial intelligence initiative in collaboration with Nvidia, committing several hundred million euros to accelerate AI adoption across its industrial sector. Under the planned agreement, Germany will finance high-performance computing power and model training, while Nvidia will supply technical resources and dedicated engineering personnel. The collaboration builds on the Sovereign Open Source Foundation Models (SOOFI) project to develop physical AI for robotics and autonomous vehicles as well as industrial models. An official announcement is scheduled for next week at Berlin's Invest in Germany conference, with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attending.
