Genius Group Announces $1.2 Billion Capital Plan to Fund AI Treasury and Bitcoin Treasury
Genius Group Limited has unveiled a multi-year $1.2 billion capital plan aimed at financing its board-approved dual treasury structure, targeting an $800 million AI Treasury and an $827 million Bitcoin Treasury to reach $2 billion in total assets by FY2031. The company plans to leverage its SEC-effective shelf registration to issue publicly registered Perpetual Preferred Securities (PPS), initially seeking to raise $12.5 million. This non-dilutive financing method is modeled after similar strategies popularized across the digital asset treasury space. Proceeds from the preferred offerings will be allocated across Bitcoin purchases, AI equity investments, and a cash reserve equal to 18 months of dividend coverage. Genius Group highlighted its intention to recommence Bitcoin acquisitions in Q4 2026, timed with historical post-halving cycle dynamics. Management projects the non-dilutive structure, combined with share buyback authorization, will help close the gap between its current share price of $0.18 and its projected net asset value per share target of $2.00 to $4.00 over the next five years.
