Fresh Foods Spur 15% Amazon Now Expansion in Brazil
Amazon has expanded its Amazon Now 15-minute delivery service assortment in Brazil by 15% after fresh and frozen foods drove higher demand. The quick-commerce offering, launched in the U.S. last year with 30-minute promises, now operates in select areas of eight Brazilian cities and is being used as a test market for groceries. The move strengthens Amazon’s position against competitors including MercadoLibre and Shopee while boosting order frequency and basket sizes, though no sales figures were disclosed.
