Franklin Templeton Secures Nasdaq Approval for Two Bitcoin Dividend Reinvestment ETFs

Franklin Templeton has obtained approval to list two Bitcoin dividend reinvestment plan ETFs on Nasdaq following SEC registration steps. The Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FBEQ) and Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FIBT) will pair a baseline 95% U.S. equity weighting with an initial 5% Bitcoin allocation. Instead of distributing cash, the funds automatically convert equity dividends into Bitcoin on the day after ex-dividend dates. Bitcoin exposure is capped at 20% and trimmed back to 4.5% during quarterly rebalancing. Both funds carry an expense ratio of 0.09%.
