Fortuna Reports 15% Increase YoY in Consolidated Mineral Reserves and updates estimate of Sunbird deposit, Séguéla

Fortuna’s update shows a materially stronger resource base that could support higher production and extend mine life, which is positive for gold exposure. Consolidated Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves rose 15% YoY to about 3.0 million gold-equivalent ounces after accounting for depletion. The Sunbird deposit at Séguéla saw underground reserves of 4.4 Mt at 3.80 g/t (539,000 oz, +34%) and inferred resources of 2.9 Mt at 4.45 g/t (417,000 oz, +55%) following successful 2025 drilling. Diamba Sud’s resource conversion lifted Indicated ounces by 165% (≈781,000 oz) and is on track for a feasibility study and first-time reserves to support a construction decision by end-Q2 2026. The company used long-term gold assumptions ($2,300–$3,300/oz) in estimates. Overall, the release is bullish for Fortuna’s asset valuation and future production profile, and supportive for gold-related market sentiment.
