Filtronic Shares Jump 14% Following Record $68.1 Million SpaceX Order
Filtronic PLC shares jumped nearly 14% to an intraday high of 270p after securing a record $68.1 million follow-on contract from SpaceX, its largest individual order to date from the satellite communications provider. Brokerage firm Cavendish reiterated its buy rating and 290p price target following the announcement. The agreement covers Cerus E-band gallium nitride solid-state power amplifiers for SpaceX's Starlink network. Material fulfillment is scheduled for Filtronic's 2028 financial year, lifting order coverage to over 90% of projected revenue. The deal builds on a prior $62.5 million order placed in August 2025.
