Fed’s decisions driving investors to precious metals, expert

The US Federal Reserve's ongoing dilemma of curbing inflation while supporting broader economic health and employment is substantially driving investor demand toward precious metals, according to CPM Group managing partner Jeffrey Christian. Speaking on the Northern Miner podcast, Christian emphasized that heightened economic, political, and financial uncertainties are compelling market participants to reallocate capital into traditional safe-haven assets like gold and silver. Looking ahead, Christian expressed strong bullish conviction for the yellow metal, forecasting that gold prices could easily test or break above the $5,000 per ounce threshold within the next four months. He noted that although some short-term opportunistic traders continue to sell into market rallies, traditional long-term investors are consistently accumulating precious metals as an essential hedge against macroeconomic instability and credit market vulnerabilities.
