Ex-PayPal president unveils bullish Bitcoin target
Former PayPal president David Marcus reiterated a long-term bullish view on Bitcoin, telling CNBC he expects BTC to be worth $1 million or more over the very long term. He warned that the rise of spot Bitcoin ETFs has shifted holders and increased volatility, as ETFs introduce different trading strategies and flows. Marcus — now CEO of Bitcoin-focused Lightspark — also announced a new enterprise product, Grid Global Accounts, which will enable branded dollar accounts, stablecoin conversion, Visa debit cards and instant FX across 65 countries, potentially boosting on‑ramps and real‑world utility for BTC. His tech and crypto pedigree (PayPal, Facebook/Diem, Coinbase board) may amplify market attention and sentiment around Bitcoin’s outlook.
