EUR/JPY Holds Near 183.14 as Weekly Bearish Bias Persists
EUR/JPY remains technically vulnerable in a neutral short-term posture after dropping to 183.14 last week. The pair first consolidated between 183.95 support and 186.30 resistance on June 22-23 before breaking below the 100-day SMA at 184.60 to reach 183.70 on June 24 amid intervention fears. Momentum has stayed bearish, with immediate support now at 183.14 and the next key level at 182.01; a break lower could extend losses toward 180.38. The long-term uptrend from the 2020 low at 114.42 stays intact above the 55-week EMA near 179.37, but recovery attempts remain capped below 186.30.
