Ethereum Tests $2,300 Support After Foundation $49M Unstake, Bitmine Stakes 112K ETH

Ethereum hovers near $2,320 after dipping 2% to test $2,300 support, triggered by the Ethereum Foundation's unstaking of 17,035 ETH (~$49M) via Lido's unstETH contract using 811 wstETH batches. The move followed a staking ramp-up to ~69,500 ETH (from 2,016 ETH in Feb 2025, +22,517 in March, +45,000 this month) nearing a 70,000 target, plus a prior 10,000 ETH OTC sale to Bitmine, fueling sell-off fears amid thin liquidity. Offsetting this, Bitmine added 112,040 ETH (~$260M) stakes to reach 3.7M ETH total, while overall staked ETH hit 38.9M despite a $293M Kelp exploit backed by 43,500 ETH DeFi pledges. Traders eye $2,300-$2,400 downside or $2,900 reclaim for bulls.
