Ethereum Solana XRP Compete for RWA Infrastructure Leadership

As of May 23 2026 Ethereum Solana and XRP Ledger are carving specialized roles in the expanding institutional RWA market. The sector surged from a $33.7 billion all-time high on May 18 to roughly $65 billion by May 19 after $1.5 billion in inflows, before tokenized-fund assets settled at $32.4 billion with Ethereum holding a 59.6 percent share. Ethereum dominance has eased from 93.4 percent in early 2025 to about 61 percent as BNB Chain Solana and Provenance capture issuance while Boston Consulting Group projects tokenized assets could reach $16 trillion by 2030.
