Ethereum Schedules Glamsterdam Upgrade for Hoodi Testnet on October 26

Ethereum has scheduled its Glamsterdam network upgrade for activation on the Hoodi testnet on October 26, 2026, at 17:42:48 UTC (epoch 132,352 and slot 4,235,264). The fork will raise Hoodi's gas limit to 200 million, matching parameters set on the Sepolia testnet following its October 6 upgrade. Glamsterdam combines the Amsterdam execution layer and Gloas consensus layer, introducing enshrined proposer-builder separation and block-level access lists. Hoodi node operators must update both execution and consensus clients ahead of activation, while the timeline for mainnet deployment has not yet been determined.
