Ethereum options open interest falls to $5.79 billion as put volume rises

Ethereum options open interest contracted 2.11% to $5.79 billion as 24-hour trading volume expanded to approximately $1.25 billion. The drop follows a prior rise to $5.92 billion from $5.82 billion, which was accompanied by $960.57 million in volume led by the $2,750 call on Bybit. While call options continue to dominate total open interest at 61.49%, short-term trading volume narrowed to 51.17% calls versus 48.83% puts, with the $2,500 put on Deribit emerging as the single most actively traded contract.
