Ethereum Glamsterdam Upgrade Begins Sepolia Testing as Grayscale Staking ETF Marks First Year

Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade entered public testing on the Sepolia testnet to assess scaling capabilities as institutional staking expands. The upgrade aims to increase the Block Gas Limit by over 233% from 60 million to more than 200 million, though mainnet timelines remain unscheduled. The network development coincides with Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini ETF completing its first year of staking distributions. The fund manages about $2.5 billion in assets across 929,000 ETH, having disbursed over $33.5 million in staking rewards with 80.39% of its holdings staked.
