Ether Supply on Crypto Exchanges Hits Record Low of 3.49%
Ethereum's supply on cryptocurrency exchanges has dropped to an all-time low of 3.49%, down 1.16% since June 1, driven by long-term accumulation, institutional staking, and DeFi locking. Currently, roughly 35% of total supply is staked and about $53 billion is locked in DeFi protocols. Despite recent price consolidation near $2,660 following a rally from $1,900 to $2,800, on-chain metrics show network resilience. Daily priority fees surged 26.74% in 24 hours to nearly $464,000, while gas used reached 217.1 billion, highlighting strong demand for block space amid tightening exchange reserves.
