Sixteen Node Operators Deploy Optimum's mump2p on Ethereum as ether.fi Mandates Rollout

Sixteen Ethereum node operators have deployed Optimum's mump2p networking software into production on mainnet, securing over 1.4 million staked ETH across approximately 22,000 validator keys. The deployment followed a mandate by liquid restaking protocol ether.fi requiring all 12 of its participating node operators to run the software. Designed to run alongside Ethereum's native GossipSub layer, mump2p provides an auxiliary block-propagation channel to reduce latency, curb missed attestations, and preserve MEV rewards. Optimum claims the integration delivers 2.42 times faster block arrival times with 7.88 times lower variance.
