Endeavour Mining outlines long-life, low-cost Assafou project in feasibility study
Endeavour Mining’s definitive feasibility study for the Assafou gold project in Côte d’Ivoire values the asset at up to $5.1bn at current gold prices, highlighting material market upside for both the company and gold exposure. The study forecasts average annual production of >320,000 oz over the first eight years of a 16-year life, at an all-in sustaining cost of $1,026/oz. At $2,500/oz gold the after-tax NPV is $2.1bn (IRR 28%); at $4,000/oz NPV rises to $5.1bn (IRR 55%). Key project metrics include proven & probable reserves of 4.4m oz, measured & indicated resources of 5.0m oz, upfront capex of $1.06bn, and a targeted final investment decision by end-2026 with 24–30 months construction. The study and high gold prices underpin a bullish outlook for Endeavour’s growth plans toward 1.5m oz/year by 2030.
