Early Ethereum ICO Participant Deposits $6.94 Million in ETH to Exchanges

An early Ethereum ICO participant transferred 3,000 ETH worth roughly $6.94 million to cryptocurrency exchanges over a 24-hour period ending Monday evening. Approximately 47,000 ETH, valued at an estimated $109 million, remains across addresses tied to the investor. The activity began earlier Monday when the whale moved 5,000 ETH after years of dormancy, including an initial 1,500 ETH transfer worth $3.45 million to an exchange. The investor, who originally bought 100,000 ETH at roughly $0.31 per token in 2015, also transferred over $100 million in stablecoins across exchanges, market makers, and OTC desks.
