A dormant cryptocurrency wallet moved 3,000 Ether valued at roughly $7.23 million to the Kraken exchange on October 22 after 9.5 years of inactivity. The tokens were originally withdrawn from Gemini in 2017 when Ether traded near $19, an initial position worth between $56,000 and $57,000, yielding an approximate 128-fold gain at an ETH price near $2,410. This follows a separate October 21 report where a nine-year-old wallet completed staged transfers of a 3,000 ETH position by depositing its final 1,000 ETH to an exchange at $2,874.17.
