Dormant Bitcoin Whale Buys Back 3,009 BTC Worth $228 Million From Binance

A dormant Bitcoin whale has re-entered the market by accumulating 3,009 BTC worth about $228 million from Binance across five tranches as prices traded between $75,000 and $76,000. The entity previously deposited 5,699 BTC onto Binance near $89,000 in late 2024 and early 2025, making the latest transaction a partial buyback at a discount. The large-scale accumulation coincided with another whale withdrawing 1,286 BTC worth $98.03 million from Binance, contrasting with $430.2 million in U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF net outflows on November 5.
