Long-dormant Bitcoin activity declined in September as wallets mobilized 5,419.45 BTC valued at roughly $457.23 million across 94 transactions, down from 6,427.59 BTC moved in August. Despite the monthly slowdown, on-chain movements remained above July levels. Wallets established in 2016 led the transfers with 1,556.53 BTC across 13 transactions, while 2013-era addresses transferred 888.91 BTC. About 57 transactions involved coins dormant between 12 and 16 years, including 600 BTC from 2010 addresses. Daily activity peaked with 24 transfers on September 5 and a single-day volume high of 1,620.39 BTC on September 6.
