Deriv’s Cyprus executive director Geo Nicolaidis is leaving after more than four years to focus on TrailBit.io, a Bitcoin blockchain analytics and forensics start‑up. TrailBit aims to provide research and investigative tools for institutional and retail users, which could strengthen on‑chain surveillance, compliance and due diligence capabilities across exchanges, brokers and regulators. The departure comes after Deriv consolidated to a single‑CEO structure last year (Rakshit Choudhary as sole CEO) and follows Nicolaidis’ internal focus on AI automation, workflow tooling and product development.
