Decta taps USDC for international treasury settlements via OpenPayd

Decta has integrated USDC into its internal treasury operations, using OpenPayd’s regulated infrastructure to convert company funds into USDC for international operational settlements. The setup is limited to Decta’s own treasury flows and does not affect customer payment products, reducing direct exposure of end users to stablecoins. OpenPayd handles OTC conversion and settlement, positioning USDC as a cross-border liquidity and treasury tool rather than a consumer-facing payment rail. The move highlights growing corporate adoption of stablecoins for internal finance, following similar treasury pilots by firms such as Hyundai and broader enterprise integrations with Circle and Kyriba. Market-wise, the announcement reinforces USDC’s expanding utility in regulated business payments and supports the case for stablecoins as infrastructure for faster, cheaper cross-border settlement, especially in Europe under MiCA-compliant frameworks.
