Dartmouth invests $14.5 million in BTC and ETH ETFs

Dartmouth College disclosed via an SEC filing that its endowment (≈$9bn) has allocated $14.5 million to crypto ETFs, including $7.7m in BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, $3.5m in a Grayscale Ethereum ETF and $3.3m in a Bitwise Solana staking ETF. The move underscores growing institutional adoption of spot crypto ETFs by university endowments and other large investors, even as the market recently saw large ETF outflows. Bitcoin was quoted at $81,237 (+2% over 24h) and had moved above its 200-day EMA but remained below its 365-day EMA and the Oct 2025 ATH of $126,000. The filing signals continued institutional interest that could support demand for major crypto ETFs, though recent multi-hundred-million-dollar outflows highlight ongoing volatility and cautious positioning.
