Major cryptocurrency exchange reserves reached 2,451,532 BTC as of October 17 after adding 929 BTC over 24 hours and 16,138 BTC across seven days. Despite these short-term gains, 30-day cumulative balances remained in net outflow territory, down 24,567 BTC. Binance recorded a daily inflow of 2,532 BTC to reach 663,380 BTC, while Coinbase Pro held the top balance of 838,132 BTC after 802 BTC in daily outflows. Regional trading activity diverged on October 16, with Asian volume plunging 66.1% to $206.99 million and European volume dropping 41%, while U.S. trading volume expanded 28.5% to $379.91 million.
