CoreWeave stock rises on Nvidia Vera Rubin cluster deployment
CoreWeave announced the deployment of a multi-rack Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 cluster on CoreWeave Cloud, becoming the first AI cloud infrastructure provider to validate and bring up the next-generation platform. The deployment integrates hundreds of Nvidia Rubin GPUs into a single scale-out computing cluster specifically designed for high-demand agentic AI training and inference workloads. Each Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 rack combines 72 Rubin GPUs with 36 Vera CPUs, Nvidia NVLink 6, Nvidia ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, and BlueField-4 DPUs, unified via Nvidia Spectrum-X Ethernet networking. Alongside the cluster launch, CoreWeave introduced new AI Object Storage capabilities, including cross-region write acceleration and an Archive tier, delivering throughput of up to 7 GB/s per GPU and reducing latency by 8x relative to standard storage architecture. The development marks an important technical milestone for Nvidia's next-generation architecture rollout across cloud infrastructure partners, supporting long-term demand visibility for enterprise AI hardware deployments.
