Consensys and Lubin Pledge 30K ETH to rsETH Recovery Stack Post-Kelp Exploit

Consensys and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin pledged up to 30,000 ETH to DeFi United’s rsETH recovery stack, joining 14,570 ETH from protocols like EtherFi and Lido, plus Mantle’s 30,000 ETH credit facility and potential 25,000 ETH from Aave DAO. This follows Kelp DAO’s April 18 exploit draining 116,500 rsETH (~$293M), causing $200M bad debt on Aave and freezing markets amid $623M in April DeFi hacks. The capital aims to repair collateral, halt liquidations, unfreeze lending pools on Aave, Compound v3, and Euler, bolstering ETH stability and DeFi confidence.
