Citigroup Raises 12-Month Bitcoin Price Target to $113,000 Citing Institutional Inflows

Citigroup raised its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $113,000 from $82,000, representing roughly 38% upside from its current trading level near $81,700. The bank cited steady institutional adoption, macroeconomic factors, and supply dynamics ahead of the projected April 2028 halving. Citi projects about $5 billion in spot Bitcoin ETF net inflows over the next 12 months, adding to the $57.2 billion accumulated since January 2024 despite recent weekly outflows of $678.9 million. However, the bank noted risks from elevated interest rates, with 10-year Treasury yields remaining above 5.2%.
