Citi Raises Bitcoin Target to $113,000 on Strengthening Crypto Activity and Inflows
Citigroup has raised its 12-month price target for Bitcoin to $113,000 from $82,000 and for Ethereum to $3,028 from $2,240, implying roughly 35% and 12% upside, respectively. The upgrades follow sharp three-month rallies where Bitcoin surged 40% off July lows and Ethereum gained 68%. Citi cited improving macroeconomic conditions, robust market activity, and expanding institutional allocations, forecasting $5 billion in net crypto inflows over the coming year. However, analysts cautioned that 10-year US Treasury yields near 5.3%, volatile ETF flows, and legislative setbacks could curb further gains.
