Citi Identifies Euro Stoxx 50 as Most Bullish Equity Market Globally Amid Inflows

European equities have emerged as the primary global positioning winner as investors rotate away from U.S. growth assets, according to Citigroup. Citi's positioning model shows the Euro Stoxx 50 index remains the most bullish market globally, continuing to attract new long allocations while positioning remains non-extended. Across Europe, the U.K. FTSE gained from fresh long positions, while Germany's DAX improved through short covering. Conversely, U.S. markets faced renewed shorting and conviction unwinds, led by the Nasdaq's benchmark-leading positioning reduction and Russell 2000 short positioning hitting historical lows.
