Circle Expands Gateway to Support cirBTC and EURC Across Multiple Blockchains

Circle has expanded its Gateway platform to support its wrapped Bitcoin token, cirBTC, and euro stablecoin, EURC, alongside USDC. The service allows users to maintain unified balances across networks, supporting cirBTC across Ethereum and Arc via a burn-and-mint mechanism with 1:1 segregated Bitcoin backing. Cross-chain access executes in under 500 milliseconds once source deposit finality is reached, which takes 13 to 19 minutes on Ethereum. Circle is temporarily waiving Gateway fees on Arc, while applying a one-basis-point fee on other networks, following Gateway surpassing $10 billion in cumulative volume.
