China Resumes Refined Fuel Exports With 3.7 Million Metric Ton October Quota

China is resuming refined fuel exports after approving approximately 3.7 million metric tons of combined diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel shipments for October. The restart follows a brief one-week suspension initiated at the start of October during the Golden Week holiday, when state refiners canceled cargoes amid depleted domestic inventories. Fuel stockpiles had fallen roughly 20 million barrels below pre-war levels for commercial diesel and gasoil, and 9 million barrels short of target thresholds for gasoline. Beijing, which initially restricted exports in March following the Iran conflict, has shifted export allocations to a monthly review basis.
