Cerrado Gold Announces Second Quarter 2026 Financial Results

Cerrado Gold reported strong Q2 2026 results driven by higher gold equivalent production, improved operating performance at Minera Don Nicolas, and continued benefit from elevated gold prices. GEO output rose to 15,415 in Q2 from 11,437 a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA jumped to $28.2 million and cash rose to $25.3 million at quarter-end. Revenue more than doubled to $64.6 million, supported by higher gold/silver prices and higher sales volumes. The company reiterated full-year 2026 guidance of 50,000 to 60,000 GEO and said production should improve in H2 as underground ore access expands and heap-leach recoveries improve. Management also highlighted ongoing exploration to extend mine life, progress at Lagoa Salgada despite permitting delays, and optimization work at Mont Sorcier. Overall, the release is positive for sentiment, signaling stronger cash generation, operational momentum, and potential for higher production into the second half of the year.
