Cerebras stock jumps as Europe AI expansion fuels OpenAI infrastructure
Cerebras shares rose 11% after the company announced a major European AI infrastructure expansion and a manufacturing scale-up with Flex. The Europe buildout targets 200MW of data-center capacity by end-2027, with first capacity expected online by year-end and sites planned in France, Finland and Norway. A portion of the capacity will support OpenAI workloads, strengthening the company’s position in fast-growing low-latency AI inference demand. Cerebras also said Flex will expand CS-3 production capacity roughly sevenfold through 2026, helping address demand that management says is running ahead of supply. The news is bullish for Cerebras because it combines revenue opportunity with higher production capability, while also signaling growing AI infrastructure investment in Europe. Analysts remain optimistic, with all 10 covering the stock rated Buy and an average price target implying further upside.
