Category Labs Tests Adapted Monad Client for Ethereum Zero-Knowledge Block Proving

Category Labs has adapted the Monad execution client to generate zero-knowledge proofs for Ethereum blocks under the Ethereum Foundation's Ethproofs initiative. In benchmark tests across 30 blocks using a single Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU, the client achieved a median proof generation time of 13 seconds per block, reflecting a 17% reduction compared to reference implementation ziskethone. Automated AI-assisted optimization involving more than 300 modifications reduced computational costs by 57% from the initial build, scoring 26% lower than ziskethone over a 200-block benchmark, approaching the Ethereum Foundation's formal latency target of 10 seconds or less.
