Cardone Capital Buys 282 BTC for $18M as Bitcoin Dips Near $62,000
Cardone Capital expanded its Bitcoin holdings with a 282 BTC purchase worth about $18 million after the price fell to around $62,000 amid geopolitical tensions. This follows the firm's earlier 130 BTC acquisition and larger $100 million allocation disclosed at Consensus 2026. On the same day, El Salvador lifted its Strategic Bitcoin Reserve to 7,687 BTC valued above $510 million through continued daily purchases of roughly one bitcoin, adding over 1,600 BTC between January and April despite IMF pressure tied to a $1.4 billion financing agreement. The dual moves underscore persistent institutional and sovereign accumulation supporting Bitcoin's role as a strategic asset.
