Canaan Treasury Hits Record 1,867 BTC as Efficiency Climbs

Canaan Inc. reported its May 2026 update on June 11, lifting its Bitcoin treasury to a record 1,867 BTC alongside 3,952 ETH. This follows BitFuFu’s June 9 disclosure of 1,855 BTC holdings after self-mining output nearly tripled to 90 BTC and total production rose 22.1% month-over-month to 177 BTC. Both miners highlighted improving fleet efficiency, with Canaan’s North American operations reaching 17.9 J/TH, even as hashrate and power capacity contracted industry-wide.
