Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc: Blanket Mine Q2 2026 Production Update

Caledonia Mining reported Q2 2026 gold production of 17,360 ounces from its Blanket Mine in Zimbabwe, up 18% from Q1 as access to higher-grade mining areas improved. The company said grades delivered to the plant have been rising steadily since January, with average Q2 grade at 2.88 g/t and July-to-date grade at 3.05 g/t. Management reaffirmed full-year 2026 production guidance of 72,000 to 76,500 ounces and expects output to be weighted to the second half as operational improvements take hold. Key catalysts for stronger H2 production include completion of the elution plant upgrade, processing stockpiled loaded carbon from September, and a 7-day working week that adds about 200 tonnes per day of ore. The update is supportive for sentiment on the stock, though Q2 output remained below the same period last year due to prior access constraints and planned mine sequencing.
