BTC Spot CVD Chart Signals Order-Flow Shift at Sept. 1 Open

Analysis of the BTC/USDT spot order book on September 1 revealed a notable divergence in Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD), highlighting a shift in order-flow dynamics at the session open. CVD tracks the net difference between aggressive market buying and selling, providing granular insight into participant behavior. The chart segmentation showed that small retail-sized orders ($100 to $1,000) remained relatively flat, whereas large institutional-sized orders ($1 million to $10 million) edged lower, indicating active selling by larger participants. Simultaneously, volume heatmaps showed dense trading activity concentrated around the $58,000–$59,000 range, a key pivot zone that has been repeatedly tested. A failure to hold this level could risk a retest of lower support near $56,000, while a breakout above could open a path toward $60,000. Despite the institutional selling pressure, the lack of an immediate price collapse points to market resilience, leaving short-term traders in a cautious posture as they monitor order flow confirmation for the next directional move.
