Bitwise Lifts 10-Year Bitcoin Forecast to Nearly $1.6 Million by 2036

Bitwise Asset Management raised its 10-year Bitcoin base-case target to $1,599,766 by 2036, up from a previous estimate of $1.3 million by 2035. The revised model projects a 34.3% annualized return, based on an $83,557 reference price from Sept. 30, 2026, even after recent market pullbacks pushed Bitcoin below $59,000. Bitwise executives attributed the upgrade to expanded addressable markets, including an increase in the global store-of-value market to $110 trillion and institutional investment to $303 trillion. Scenario projections range from a $130,686 bear case to a $3,667,911 bull case.
