BitMine Buys Another 20,000 ETH as Ethereum Rebounds Above $1,780

BitMine Immersion Technologies acquired an additional 20,000 ETH for $35.85 million from FalconX on June 16, extending its aggressive treasury expansion. This follows the firm's $135-139 million purchase of 76,881 ETH the prior week, lifting total holdings above 5.62 million ETH or 4.66% of supply. The buying coincides with Ethereum's rebound above $1,780, fueled by $2.8 billion in Binance taker-buy volume and leveraged whale accumulation on Aave. Over 83% of BitMine's ETH is now staked, with projected annual rewards exceeding $220 million.
