Bitmine adds 9,926 ETH, taking total holdings to roughly $11 billion

Bitmine Immersion Technologies expanded its Ethereum treasury by 9,926 ETH over the past week, lifting holdings to 5,815,164 ETH worth roughly $11 billion. That makes Bitmine the largest corporate ether holder globally and the second-largest corporate crypto treasury overall, behind Strategy’s bitcoin reserves. The company says it now controls 4.8% of Ethereum’s 120.7 million circulating supply and is 96% of the way to its stated 5% target. Most of the ETH is staked, supporting projected annualized staking revenue of $250 million. Bitmine also disclosed 210 BTC, equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings, and $78 million in cash and marketable securities. Separately, it repurchased 1.7 million shares last week, bringing total buybacks since July 1 to 20.8 million shares under a $4 billion authorization. The update reinforces Ethereum’s role as a corporate treasury asset and may be viewed as supportive for ETH sentiment, especially amid optimism around tokenization and AI-related blockchain use cases.
