Bitget Launches Anti-Scam Month as Multi-Asset Fraud Loss Hits $442 B
Bitget launched Anti-Scam Month 2026 to address a surge in multi-asset fraud as markets integrate crypto, tokenized stocks, RWAs, AI-linked products, and traditional assets. Citing Interpol data that multi-asset scams caused over $442 billion in losses in 2025, Bitget’s month-long campaign in June will publish security articles, videos, anti-scam reports (co-authored with onchain and AI partners), and host live X Spaces. The initiative reinforces platform measures — proof of reserves, a Protection Fund, and user education — intended to bolster user safety and market confidence as trading becomes more multi-asset. The move targets reducing vulnerability to phishing, fake apps, malicious contracts and AI-driven scams, aiming to support safer multi-asset adoption rather than directly moving prices.
