Bitdeer increased Bitcoin mining output by nearly fivefold in Q2

Bitdeer reported a sharp operational improvement in Q2 2026, mining 2,694 BTC, nearly five times more than the 565 BTC mined a year earlier. Revenue rose 47% year over year to $228.8 million, modestly above Wall Street’s $225 million estimate, helped by self-mining revenue of $168.4 million and a 389% jump in average self-mining hashrate to 69.5 EH/s. Despite the stronger output, the company’s net loss widened to $92.3 million from $62.9 million. Bitdeer ended the quarter with only 150 BTC on its balance sheet after previously liquidating its 943 BTC treasury, highlighting a more liquidity-focused capital approach. The stock rose 1.5% in premarket trading, though it had fallen 15% over the prior month. The report underscores improving mining scale and revenue momentum, but ongoing profitability pressure remains a concern.
